1. What is a TransScreen?

A 3D holographic transparent projection screen that displays an image floating in space. It is a 4 mil thick polyester film with 6 coatings to capture the image.

2. Do I need special equipment to create the projected images?

No. Standard video or still cameras and projectors are very effective for creating this holographic illusion. However, the better quality the video camera and projection equipment the better the resulting 3D effect. Other more important factors like room lighting, creative use of background props and projector contrast ratio have a larger impact on the effectiveness of the holographic illusion.

4. What are the maximum and minimum dimensions of the screen?

TransScreens can be made as large as you like. It is 5 feet (1.52 meters) in one dimension by any length in the other. Used side by side you can create any size you desire. You are limited only by the structure size and the brightness of your video projector.

5. Is a TransScreen image really 3D?

Yes and no. Without getting too technical, people always see in 2D, it's the brain that tells us it's 3D due to depth of field cues.
